Dear Patients and Friends,

After nearly thirty-three years of practicing dentistry in Pleasanton, I have made the decision to retire on March 6, 2026. Over the years, I have thoroughly enjoyed practicing dentistry and building relationships with all of you.

As I transition into retirement, I am pleased to announce Dr. Shirley Zhao and Dr. Max Greenfield will be taking over the practice. Dr. Zhao is highly competent and experienced local dentist who resides in Pleasanton. She graduated from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2006 and has proudly called Pleasanton home ever since.

Dr. Max Greenfield graduated from the University of Texas Dental School in 2000 and has been practicing in California for the past 19 years. I take great comfort in knowing that your continued dental care will be in capable and professional’s hands. They both look forward to meeting you and continuing to provide you with exceptional care.

Please be assured that my beloved Hygienists and Assistants will continue to stay and provide your dental care alongside Dr. Zhao and Dr. Greenfield.

I will sadly miss seeing each and every one of you. My staff and I take great pleasure in thanking you for your confidence and trust with your dental care throughout the years.

I look forward to the years ahead and the free time that comes with retirement. Having more fee time will allow for more enjoyable activities with my friends and family.
